Controlling self-assembly and charge transport in photo-responsive nanostructured materials

Aromatic core fluorination directs the self-assembly of hockey-stick polycatenars into a novel mesophase, unlocking tuneable charge transport for application as photo-responsive organic semiconductors of hole mobility up to 10 −2 cm 2 V −1 s −1 .
