This work demonstrates the controlled reconstruction of F-doped NiFe LDH on Ni foam (F-LDH/NF) into a hierarchical F-doped NiFeOOH–NiFe LDH/NF architecture (R-F-LDH/NF), achieving exceptional OER performance in saline media.
