In this study, a novel diacylhydrazone Schiff base butanedihydrazide-bridged bis(4-methoxysalicylaldehyde) ligand (HL) was synthesized by the condensation of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde and succinic dihydrazide.
