Photodriven Fluoroalkylation–Alkoxylation of Enol Ethers via Electron Donor–Acceptor Complex of Bromodifluoroacetamides

We herein describe an unprecedented photoinduced EDA-enabled multicomponent reaction for the construction of fluorinated acetals from enol ethers, bromodifluoroacetamides, and alcohols, which enables late-stage functionalization of acetals. This reaction involved a cascade XAT/radical addition/SET/alkoxylation process. The reaction exhibited a broad substrate scope and a wide functional group compatibility.
