Phytohormones are pivotal signaling molecules that orchestrate a wide array of physiological and developmental processes in plants (Weyers and Paterson, 2001). Eight major classes of phytohormones, including auxins, cytokinins (CKs), gibberellins (GAs), abscisic acid (ABA), brassinosteroids (BRs), jasmonates (JAs), salicylic acid (SA), and strigolactones (SLs), function through complex interaction networks to regulate plant growth and adaptation. Among these regulatory molecules, CKs constitute a particularly important class of hormones that govern diverse physiological processes.
