Entrepreneurship research plays a pivotal role in national innovation and development. However, studies focusing on students in teacher education remain limited. This study evaluates the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention among teacher-education students in Vietnam, while also examining the influence of parents on students' entrepreneurial intention. Using data from 1544 participants and a PLS-SEM model, the findings indicate that entrepreneurship education does not have a direct effect on entrepreneurial intention; instead, it exerts a positive indirect effect through attitude toward entrepreneurship. The study further reveals that the father's job significantly shapes both students' attitudes and their entrepreneurial intentions. Based on these results, the article offers theoretical and practical implications for enhancing students' entrepreneurial intention.
