A novel electrochemical sensor based on a CuO.Fe2O3/H-C3N4/GO nanocomposite was developed. Characterization of a nanocomposite CuO.Fe2O3/H-C3N4/GO was done by UV-visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared, X-ray powder diffraction, EIS and the DPV and CV methods were used for electrochemical determination. The results of the voltammetric measurements indicated that the oxidation of nitrite was confirmed by the increase in the oxidation peak current attributed to rapid electron transfer. CV was done for different concentrations of nitrite in the range 10-750 µM. This sensor has shown to be highly advanced at detecting nitrite and had a remarkably low limit of 1.26 µM. The results of the study showed that this nanocomposite could be regarded as prospective electric material used for the voltage detection of nitrites in environmental pollution surveillances and their usage in foods and. The increased selectivity and sensitivity of the sensor permits use in many situations for the monitoring of nitrites. The sensor also featured a significant detection range, low detection limit, and long-term stability, minimum interference, excellent reproducibility, and consistent repeatability for precise nitrite quantification.
