Perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) with their increasingly higher external quantum efficiencies (EQEs) have attracted continuous attention from the academic field. Perovskite near-infrared light-emitting diodes (PeNIRLEDs) have shown great potential for bioimaging, particularly in imaging and diagnosing blood arteries due to their superior advantage of higher depth penetration and lower scattering compared with visible light. But its stability always affects its performance. In the present study, we prepared FAPbI 3 Perovskite doped with varying amounts of 5-Aminovaleric acid (5-AVA: 1-6 mg). We found that the doping of 5-AVA in FAPbI 3 Perovskite significantly impact its structural and optical properties, resulting in improvement in stability, PL and EQE. Our manufactured device exhibits and output photoluminescence emission peak at 850 nm with full width half maximum (FWHM) of 64 nm. A maximum radiance of 108 W sr −1 m −2 with low turn-on voltage of 1.7 V and high EQE of 9.5% were obtained, so our fabricated device is well qualified for in vivo applications such as subcutaneous deep vein imaging, blood flow visualization, tumor illumination, telecommunications, night vision cameras and environmental monitoring.
