原始摘要(英文原文)· Original abstract
Statistical modelling approaches to objectively identify non-random distributions of melanocytic nevi, termed ‘clustering’ and ‘dispersion’ phenotypes, were previously described by Chousakos et al. (Chousakos et al., 2022) and our group (Jayasinghe et al., 2023, Jaysinghe, 2023) (Supplementary Figure S1). Chousakos et al. (2022) analyzed melanoma and nevus distribution patterns across the back of 311 high-risk melanoma patients (age range = 30‒49 years; NY, US) and observed significant clustering in average(Chousakos et al., 2022).
