• A certificate course on Green Analytical Chemistry was designed for pharmacy professionals. • The concepts of green metrics and sustainability were embedded in the analytical education. • Learning objectives were assessed with the use of outcome-based assessments • The course provides a scalable model for professional training in green analysis. This Short Communication describes the course and evaluation of a 31-hour, 2-credit online Certificate Course on "Green Analytical Techniques (GAT)" conducted at Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy (SACP), India. The course seeks to introduce principles of Green Analytical Chemistry (GAC) into formal education through digital delivery, interactive pedagogy, and quantitative greenness assessment tools including AGREE, GAPI, NEMI, and Eco-Scale. The course was applied to 41 participants-trainings for undergraduates and graduates, research scholars, and faculty. Empirical data gathered through assessment test scores and feedback indicated substantial learning attainment: over 90% of students scoring above 70% in summative evaluation and 97% of students reporting that the stated learning objectives were fully achieved. The program further links to UNESCO's Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) framework, ACS Green Chemistry Education Guidelines, and National Policy on Education (NEP 2020) of India. The outcome highlights that well-structured, credit-awarding online courses capacitates students with analytical skills from a sustainability perspective. This type of course design offers an answer that can be scaled for the incorporation of environmental stewardship into analytical chemistry education.
