With a large number of large-scale electric heating loads and photovoltaic power stations accessing the distribution network, the uncertainties in both distributed generation and load demand will lead to prominent power supply stability problems on the distribution network side. Therefore, it is essential to re-optimize the distribution network planning. Meanwhile, the rapid development of digital twin technology has become a technological trend. For this reason, a distribution network planning digital twin model considering the scaled electric heating load access is proposed. Firstly, a digital twin framework for electric heating load distribution network is constructed, then a decentralized electric heating load model is built, its aggregated power and regulation capacity are calculated and added into the digital twin model of the distribution network, based on which, a model for distribution network planning considering the inclusion of electric heating loads with optimal distribution network planning economics is constructed with the objective of optimization. Finally, the distribution network planning model is built and solved with the solver. The case study demonstrates the significant enhancement in the efficiency of distribution network planning and rate of renewable energy usage achieved by the suggested approach.
