We read with interest the work of Hubers and colleagues describing the impact of local field potential (LFP) movement-related artifacts on adaptive deep brain stimulation (aDBS) in Parkinson disease (PD) [1]. In it, the LFP recordings from sixty PD patients implanted with Medtronic Percept™ PC implantable pulse generators (IPGs) and bilateral subthalamic nucleus (STN) SenSight leads were synchronized with MDS-UPDRS part III video assessments to detect absolute and % change in LFP power during each task.
