Here, we report a 54-year-old man diagnosed with isolated right ventricular hypoplasia who was successfully treated with one-and-a-half ventricle repair and fenestrated atrial septal defect closure.
Isolated right ventricular hypoplasia is an extremely rare congenital heart disease, reported primarily in pediatric patients, and standardized treatment strategies remain unestablished in exceptionally uncommon adult cases. Here, we report a 54-year-old man diagnosed with isolated right ventricular hypoplasia who was successfully treated with one-and-a-half ventricle repair and fenestrated atrial septal defect closure.
