Over the last few years, sustainable practices have become increasingly important. Green practices must be identified as effective ways to boost sustainability. This study explores the impact of strategic GHRM practices on the sustainable performance of manufacturing firms in Malaysia. In addition, green innovation plays a mediating role between GHRM and sustainable performance. Survey questionnaires were administered to Malaysian manufacturing firms. There were 310 questionnaires completed by respondents, which were deemed suitable for data analysis. SPSS 23 and Smart_PLS 4 analyzed the data. This study found that "green" processes within the organization create an environmentally friendly atmosphere. Sustainable performance was positively impacted by green HR practices. Furthermore, the relationship between GHRM and sustainable performance is further mediated by green innovation. This notion can help developing nations' manufacturing industries create cleaner business processes. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the outcomes may help management achieve their environmental goals while sustaining them.
