Sustainable design of museum bronze cultural-creative products through an integrated Kano-AHP-TOPSIS approach

This study proposes a museum cultural product design method that integrates the Kano-AHP-TOPSIS hybrid model to address the challenge of optimizing the synergy between the cultural attributes of bronze ware products and user demands. Using the Western Zhou Taibao Ding as an empirical object, the framework optimizes design through a four-stage process: First, a user demand indicator system is constructed by integrating web crawling and in-depth interviews. Second, 16 key design elements are selected and their weights quantified based on the Kano questionnaire and the AHP model. Then, three differentiated design plans are generated based on the high-weight elements. Finally, the AHP-TOPSIS evaluation results show that the optimal design plan achieves a relative closeness of 0.979, with the other plans outperforming existing similar products in terms of cultural element utilization and market preference. This model not only verifies the feasibility of optimizing the design process for the Western Zhou Taibao Ding cultural products, but also has the potential to be extended to other fields of bronze ware cultural product development, offering a design path for the sustainable innovation of related cultural and creative products.
