Catheter-Directed Recombinant Tissue Plasminogen Activator for Treatment of Aortic Root and Coronary Artery Thrombosis in Single Ventricle Patients: A Case Series.

We present a case series of 4 single ventricle patients with either native aortic root and/or coronary thrombosis who underwent catheter-directed thrombolysis with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator therapy. Two presented after cardiac arrest and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation cannulation, 1 patient with new ventricular dysfunction and ischemic electrocardiogram changes, and 1 presented with recalcitrant systemic vascular resistance crises. Thromboses resolved in 3 of 4 patients. The procedure was well tolerated without complications.
