Peripartum cardiomyopathy presenting as postpartum cardiogenic shock: a multimodality imaging approach.

Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is a rare but potentially life-threatening cause of heart failure that requires prompt recognition and exclusion of alternative etiologies. This case highlights the complementary roles of computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) in the peripartum patient with acute heart failure.
