Primary Hyperaldosteronism as a Cause of Resistant Hypertension: A Case Report.

In young patients with resistant hypertension and hypokalemia, primary hyperaldosteronism should be suspected. Biochemical assessment and adrenal imaging could identify surgically curable aldosterone-producing adenomas, and a normalization of blood pressure, potassium levels, and symptom resolution can be achieved through adrenalectomy.
