Altitudinal Visual Field Defect as the Presenting Sign of a Brain Tumor: A Case Report.

Brain tumors present with symptoms depending on their type, location, and stage. Most cause visual field defects respecting vertical meridians. Compressive optic neuropathy may produce altitudinal defects, mimicking ischemic optic neuropathy. Therefore, brain tumors should be included in the differential diagnosis, as early detection may improve clinical outcomes.
