In unusual lesions of the Achilles Tendon, clinicians should be aware to perform an effective surgical technique aimed to restore anatomy and function. Medical history of the patients is crucial for understanding the type of traumatic mechanism. Unusual traumatic mechanisms may also present an unconventional injury pattern to repair.
