The third reported case of synchronous colorectal adenocarcinoma and EBV-positive DLBCL in an 87-year-old patient confirms the rarity of this synchronous tumor. Despite segmental resection, the patient died from postoperative complications, highlighting the need for multidisciplinary research into pathogenesis and management.
