High Entropy Alloy HER Electrode The proton exchange membrane water electrolysis (PEMWE) stands out for its high efficiency, yet its catalysts still face an inherent trade-off between activity and stability. In Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202510703), Xiongjun Liu, Rui Li, Zhaoping Lu, and co-workers report a porous (FeCoNiPt)2Nb high-entropy alloy HER electrode that breaks the trade-off via dissolution–deposition dynamic equilibrium. The electrode delivers exceptional performance and stability, operating continuously—and intermittently—for at least 2,200 h at 1 A cm−2.
