Cancer Immunotherapy In article number 2501565, Xu Chen, Yihang Pan, Tianxin Lin, and co-workers have established a platform utilizing a CRISPR system-based bacterial outer membrane vesicle (OMV) for the efficient and cost-effective targeted delivery of plasmids. The intravesical administration of these engineered OMVs, which encoding CXCL-9 and IL-12, have been shown to effectively facilitating T-cell infiltration and activation. This process enhances the anti-tumor efficacy of OMV-mediated therapies and increases sensitivity to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 treatments. Consequently, this approach presents a novel strategy to address resistance to immunotherapy in the context of bladder cancer.
