ABSTRACT Chiral scintillators, a new class of luminescent materials, are expanding the capabilities of radiation detection and imaging technologies by efficiently converting high‐energy excitation into circularly polarized radioluminescence (CPRL). This perspective summarizes the recent advancements in chiral scintillators, highlighting their potential in reducing optical crosstalk, improving X‐ray imaging resolution, and enabling deep‐penetrating asymmetric photopolymerization. However, challenges remain in optimizing the trade‐off between CPRL performance and luminous efficiency, due to the inherent “seesaw” relationship between the luminescence dissymmetry factor ( g RL ) and brightness ( B ). Several emerging materials, such as chiral rare‐earth complexes, chiral self‐assembly, chiral liquid crystals, and chiral aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) systems, hold the potential to overcome these limitations. This perspective also discusses the latest breakthroughs in chiral scintillators, their potential applications, and the future directions in this field.
