The combination of the artificial intelligence and digital twin technologies with the autonomous risk mitigation systems resulted in a situation of remarkable possibilities, with the appearance of new security gaps. The concept of trusted twin security architecture (TTSA) is a potent security framework with the capacity to protect the data collected by digital twin based on cognitive trust, zero-trust concepts, adaptive defense and autonomous risk intelligence. This chapter phases the TTSA framework and operational dynamics, and execution techniques in the backdrop of averting advanced attacks such as model inversion, twin desynchronization, synthetic identity abuse, sensor spoofing, malicious large language models and FraudGPT-induced threats. It shows the threat landscape in digital twin and autonomous systems. Risk-aware cognitive twin models are a significant step forward from standard digital twins by the way they incorporate intelligent reasoning, adaptive learning and real-time threat awareness into the process of making decisions autonomously.
