This is a protocol for a Cochrane review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effects of service-delivery interventions for lipid testing and lipid-lowering therapies, such as point-of-care testing and non-physician-led or collaborative care programmes, for primary or secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
